A woman was allegedly murdered by her brother-in-law in Thogalagallu village of Aspari mandal in Kurnool district late on Sunday night. The victim, 45-year-old Golla Gangavathi, had been accused of killing her husband, Golla Ahobilam, and was recently released on bail. Police say Gangavathi was close to another man named Chennakesava from Karnataka. Earlier, in September, Ahobilam was attacked and killed near Thogalagallu village while returning home. After investigation, police arrested Gangavathi and Chennakesava but later granted them bail. Ahobilam’s brother, Peddayya, reportedly held a grudge against Gangavathi. Police suspect Peddayya killed her to avenge his brother's death. Gangavathi was attacked fiercely with a pestle, causing her instant death. Police are searching for the accused murderer.
