Hyderabad police, along with the Elite Action Group for Drug Law Enforcement (EAGLE), arrested six drug peddlers in raids across Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Warangal. Authorities seized 330 grams of ganja, 43 grams of cocaine, and 11.5 grams of MDMA. They also recovered one car, one motorcycle, and five mobile phones from the accused. In Warangal, two men, Reddaboina Karthik, 25, and Reddaboina Rajesh, 18, were caught with 50 grams of ganja, two phones, and a motorcycle. Karthik revealed he got ganja from Md. Fardeen, 21, from Hanamkonda. Police seized 30 grams of ganja and a phone from Fardeen. Karthik and Rajesh were handed to Huzurabad police, while Fardeen was handed to Hanamkonda police. In Cyberabad, Dudukuri Akhil was arrested in Miyapur with 250 grams of ganja. He said he bought it from Ganesh in Andhra Pradesh. Police are trying to arrest Ganesh, who is part of a network smuggling ganja between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Akhil was given to the Miyapur SHO. In Hyderabad, two men from Rajasthan, Nitin Singhaniya and Shranik Singhvi, were caught at Masab Tank. Police found 43 grams of cocaine, 11.5 grams of MDMA, a car, and two phones. The accused had contacts with an African national and got drugs through African couriers. The drugs were dropped at secret locations in Hyderabad and sold for cash. Some drugs were used personally, and some were sold to close associates. All arrests and seizures took place during coordinated raids on December 19 and 20, 2025.
