Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said Indiramma houses will be given to all eligible poor families across the State. The second phase of allotments will begin from April. "As promised, we will fulfil the dream of every poor family of owning a house," the Minister said during a visit to Kalluru mandal in Khammam district. He toured the area with District Collector Anudeep Durishetty and local MLA Matta Ragamayi Dayanand. In the first phase, 4.50 lakh Indiramma houses were sanctioned statewide, providing about 3,500 houses per Assembly constituency. Funds are released every Monday depending on how far along the home construction is. The second phase of house sanctions will start from April, the Minister confirmed. During the visit, the Minister laid the foundation stone for four major BT road projects costing ₹15 crore. Speaking at public meetings, he said the government is moving welfare and development ahead together. The Minister highlighted key government achievements over the past nine months. These include a ₹21,000 crore farm loan waiver benefiting 25 lakh farmers, free bus travel for women, supply of fine rice, issuance of new ration cards, and a 40% increase in diet charges for Gurukul students.
