Rudragowda Patil, the main accused in the Police Sub-Inspector recruitment scam, was booked again on Saturday. He caused disturbance inside Kalaburagi Central Prison by objecting to a routine barrack inspection. Prison officials said Patil questioned the authority of jail staff and refused to let them carry out the inspection without prior permission. A complaint was filed at Farhatabad Police Station by the prison superintendent, Anita. Sources said the inspection was ordered by senior officials. Jail staff also remembered Patil creating trouble when he was released for two weeks last month under a Supreme Court order. At that time, authorities had complained about his misbehaviour and assault. Prison officials stated that Patil has often been involved in acts of indiscipline inside the jail.
