Telangana Govt Shuffles IAS Officers, Jayesh Ranjan Takes Charge of Urban Development

The Telangana government announced a major reshuffle of IAS and other officers. Jayesh Ranjan (1992 batch) was transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to the Government, Metropolitan Area and Urban Development, covering HMDA limits. He will also keep his additional charge as Special Chief Secretary for Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture, Sports, and Director of Archaeology. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao will continue as Special Chief Secretary and CEO of the Industry and Investment Cell in the Chief Minister’s Office, handling the SPEED initiative. The government also ordered the transfer and posting of many Zonal Commissioners across the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation limits. In district administration, M. Haritha, who was Collector of Rajanna Sircilla, is now Secretary of Telangana Professional Government Service Commission (TGPSC), replacing Priyanka Ala. E.V. Narsimha Reddy has been appointed Managing Director of the Musi River Development Corporation Limited. These changes were notified on December 25, 2025, at 11:40 pm IST.
