On December 23, 2025, hundreds of activists from the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal gathered outside the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi. They protested against communalism in Bangladesh following the lynching of a Hindu man there. The protest created chaos in the high-security area as demonstrators rushed the barricades. Authorities had set up three layers of barricades and deployed police and paramilitary forces to secure the area. Despite this, protesters tried to climb over barricades, shouting slogans against the Bangladesh government. They held banners and placards, including one that read: "Hindu rakt ki ek ek boond ka hisaab chahiye (Each drop of blood of a Hindu must be accounted for)." The police struggled to keep the crowd under control as emotions ran high during the demonstration.
