Labour & Employment Minister G Vivek Venkatswamy said learning more than one skill increases employment chances for youth. Speaking at the India Skills 2025 closing ceremony on Saturday, he called skill competitions great for refining talents. The Minister said the State aims for a $3 trillion economy soon. "If the economy grows, new industries come up and need more skilled youth," he added. Venkatswamy highlighted the government is setting up 115 Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) to give youth futuristic training. "Such centres do not exist anywhere else in the country," he said, urging young people to join courses at ATCs. Principal Secretary Dana Kishore said zonal competitions chose 240 candidates in 40 categories for India Skills 2025.
