Sri Padmavati Mahila Viswa Vidyalayam (SPMVV), through its National Service Scheme (NSS Unit 17), held a special camp in Sanambatla village, Chandragiri mandal. The week-long camp ended on Sunday, December 14, 2025. It focused on the ‘Swachh Andhra – Swarna Andhra’ mission. Volunteers cleared garbage and raised awareness about the dangers of open defecation and plastic use. They also emphasized keeping water bodies clean. The camp collaborated with the Postal Department to run a special Aadhaar enrolment, updation, and KYC verification drive. NSS programme officer S. Santhi Sree said, “Besides, the numerous schemes like postal life insurance and other savings schemes were explained to the villagers to promote thrift.” A medical camp took place under the Government Maternity Hospital, Tirupati. Led by Medical Officer Dr. T. Srinivasulu, villagers received medicines for seasonal flu and related ailments. Women got training in block printing, painting on pots, and saris to boost their skills. Local resident A. Swetha said, “This will surely help us make money during our free time.” The camp worked towards the overall development of Sanambatla village with a mix of health, cleanliness, digital services, and skill enhancement.
