The Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will operate special metro-feeder bus services on Sunday, January 4, 2026. This move will help visitors attend the annual art fair, Chitra Santhe, smoothly and at a low cost. The buses will run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at a flat fare of ₹15. The goal is to encourage public transport use and reduce traffic near the event venue. These shuttle services will connect major transit points to Vidhana Soudha, close to the Chitra Santhe location. Four buses will run every 10 minutes from Kempegowda Bus Station to Vidhana Soudha via Central Talkies, Anandarao Circle, and Shivananda Stores. Similarly, another four buses will travel every 10 minutes from Mantri Mall Metro Station to Vidhana Soudha, passing through Anandarao Circle and Shivananda Stores. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate Chitra Santhe, which this year highlights the theme of the environment. Over 1,500 artists from 22 States and four Union Territories are expected to participate. The previous year saw about 1,500 artists from 20 States displaying their work and a footfall of over five lakh visitors.
