The Telangana Government has released ₹713 crores to clear pending bills owed to government employees for December. The payments cover gratuity, General Provident Fund (GPF), surrender leave encashment, and advances. This action came after directions from Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. Officials from the Finance Department released the bills on December 31, 2025. Earlier, the government promised employee unions it would release ₹700 crore each month. By June end, ₹183 crore was released, and from August onwards, at least ₹700 crore has been paid monthly.
