On December 30, 2025, the Telangana government issued orders transferring several IAS officers. This reshuffle follows the re-organisation of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) into 12 Zones, 60 Circles, and 300 Wards. New Police Commissionerates and Police Commissioners have also been appointed. Key transfers include G Srijana, Director of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, who is now Additional Commissioner of GHMC for Kukatpally, Serilingampally, and Quthbullapur Zones. Shruthi Ojha, Director of Women and Child Welfare, has been given Full Additional Charge as Director of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development. T. Vinay Krishna Reddy, Nizamabad Collector, was transferred to become Additional Commissioner of GHMC for Malkajgiri, LB Nagar, and Uppal Zones. Ila Tripati, previously Nalgonda Collector, has been posted as the new Nizamabad Collector. Chandrashekar Badugu, Additional Collector of Sangareddy district, moves to Nalgonda as Collector. Uma Shankar Prasad, Sub Collector of Tandoor in Vikarabad, has been given Full Additional Charge of Additional Collector (Local Bodies), Narayanpet. These moves aim to strengthen administration across the reorganised GHMC zones and newly formed Police Commissionerates.
