At least six people are feared dead after a bus fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand’s Almora district on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. The accident happened in the Bhikiyasain area while the bus was traveling to Ramnagar in Nainital. According to officials from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), the bus fell near Vinayak with around 17-18 passengers onboard. The SDRF confirmed that six to seven people are feared to have died on the spot. Rescue teams are currently working to save the injured passengers and are taking them to the government hospital in Bhikiyasain for treatment.
