B. Venkata Rao, a School Assistant at Vadada Zilla Parishad High School in Srikakulam, was honoured with the CV Raman-Madam Curie award. The award ceremony took place in Guntur and was organised by the KVR Jayalakshmi Educational Trust. The award was presented by former MLC and Jana Vignana Vedika State president K.S. Lakshmana Rao. In a press release dated December 29, 2025, Mr. Lakshmana Rao praised Mr. Venkata Rao for his efforts in helping students gain practical knowledge through hands-on experiments. Mr. Lakshmana Rao also mentioned that he established the Trust in his parents' name to support meritorious teachers. Representatives from the Indian Association of Physics Teachers, along with lecturers like Joga Chandrasekhar, also congratulated Mr. Venkata Rao for receiving this prestigious award.
