On Sunday, Superintendent of Police V. Harshavardhan Raju urged police personnel in Prakasam district to remain alert and armed at all times to protect lives and property. During the annual firing practice at Chimakurthi Range, he reminded officers to be careful and responsible when handling weapons. "You are not just required to equip with the skills needed to use the arms, but also exhibit a sense of responsibility while using them," he said. Mr. Raju also asked senior police officers to keep up with new technology and get familiar with modern ammunition. He appreciated and rewarded police personnel who performed well in the firing practice. Deputy Superintendents Lakshmi Narayana (Darsi), V.V. Ramana Kumar (Women’s PS), Sai Eshwar Yashwanth (Kanigiri), G. Gurunath Babu (DTC), and K. Srinivasa Rao (Armed Reserve) participated in the event.
