A Christmas love feast was held at Nooranad Leprosy Sanatorium on Wednesday. The event was organised by the ‘Nanmayude Snehakkoodu’ collective. Social activist Johnson V. Idikkula led the programme with support from the Shot Pulikkathra Koinonia Group. Volunteers volunteered their time to share the festive day and meal with the sanatorium inmates. Mr. Idikkula, from Thalavadi, has visited the sanatorium for over 30 years. He has coordinated many charitable events there with help from various groups. The Christmas–New Year gathering was officially opened by Ajoy K. Varghese, member of Niranam grama panchayat.
