Clashes broke out between two groups of Christmas carol singers on December 24 around 11:30 pm in Nooranad, Alappuzha. The altercation started over a disagreement and quickly turned violent. Several people, including women and children, were injured. Police said the injured have sought hospital treatment. Authorities confirmed the injuries are not fatal. An investigation has been launched to understand the incident better.
