ECI Releases Kerala Draft Voter Rolls After Special Intensive Revision for 2026 Assembly Polls
December 23, 2025
On December 23, 2025, the Election Commission of India (ECI) published the draft electoral rolls for Kerala. The update followed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise conducted ahead of the state's Assembly elections in 2026. Kerala's house-to-house enumeration phase of the SIR ended on December 18. The SIR process was part of a wider second phase across nine States and three Union Territories, including big states like Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
Voters in Kerala can check their names in the draft rolls online via the voter’s service portal. They need to select their district, assembly constituency, part number, and part name to download the PDF. Alternatively, the official ECI portal, voters.eci.gov.in, offers a 'Search your name in voter list' feature. Users can enter their EPIC number and state, fill in the captcha, and see their details.
If a voter’s name is missing, they should contact their Booth Level Officers (BLOs) or check with the Block Development Office. Those excluded can file their claims and objections with the District Election Officer. This window remains open until January 22, 2026, allowing voters to ensure their eligibility is reflected accurately before the elections.
