Superintendent of Police K. Pratap Shiva Kishore announced that police secured convictions of 51 accused in 41 cases with the help of the Dharma Nyaya Sahayak APP. These convictions were awarded over the last year. The Court Monitoring Cell (CMC) tracked the status of cases closely. Of the 51 accused, 29 received life sentences in 21 cases. Three were sentenced to 20 years in three cases, and 11 got 10-year sentences in nine cases. The SP said, "We have been monitoring the status and trial of the cases in courts regularly. As the police produced the scientific and material evidence and the witnesses in courts, the accused got convictions." He added that the CMC was launched a year ago and helped jail accused in many sensational cases. He praised the police, prosecution, and judicial officers for their efforts in clearing cases and securing convictions.
