A no-confidence motion against the BJP government in Haryana was defeated after the Congress MLAs walked out during the debate in the State Assembly. The motion, led by Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda, accused Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini of not giving satisfactory answers on various issues. CM Saini responded by saying, "even in February 2024, the Congress staged a walkout after bringing a no-confidence motion. They level allegations and then run away." With Congress MLAs absent, the Speaker put the motion to a voice vote, rejecting it after a five-hour debate that lasted until 10:15 p.m. on December 19, 2025.
