Saudi Arabia Makes National Address Mandatory on Parcels from January 2026
December 19, 2025
Starting 1 January 2026, every parcel sent in Saudi Arabia must include a valid national address. The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced that delivery companies will reject shipments missing this information. Individuals and businesses must update or register their national address before the deadline. This new rule supports the National Transport and Logistics Strategy to enhance delivery accuracy and boost e-commerce. By linking shipments to precise addresses, the TGA expects fewer delivery errors and faster service. National address registration is available on platforms like the National Address portal, Absher, Tawakkalna, Sehhaty, and SPL. The TGA stressed the importance of this address in building a more efficient and organized logistics sector. This step will help create a sustainable parcel delivery system and strengthen the overall transport and logistics network in the Kingdom.
