Maximus, a US-based technology firm, will open a major new centre in Hyderabad in 2026. The centre will have around 200 staff and support global government projects in health, social services, and digital governance. Telangana Government said, “The centre is expected to focus on advanced digital delivery, analytics, programme management and technology-led transformation of public service systems.” The announcement was made during the Telangana Rising Global Summit, with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy present. The Government added, “With governments worldwide increasingly adopting digital, data-driven and citizen-centric service delivery models, Maximus’s decision to locate its next India expansion in Hyderabad reinforces Telangana’s emergence as a national hub for digital governance, public-sector innovation, and mission-critical global services.” Maximus already has an office in Bengaluru with 450 employees since February 2024. It plans to start operations in Hyderabad from February 2026 and grow the team to 200 in the same year. This will be one of India’s first large global public service delivery centres based in Telangana. Chief Minister Reddy said, “Telangana continues to attract first-of-its-kind global investments in public service technology and digital government capabilities, driven by the State’s strong talent base, policy clarity and future-ready ecosystem.” He added, “The government of Telangana remains committed to enabling global organisations working at the intersection of technology, governance and social impact. It looks forward to a long-term partnership with Maximus as it scales its operations in the State.”
