Four people were killed and 25 injured in a huge vehicle pile-up on Yamuna Expressway in Mathura on Tuesday morning. Around 4:30 a.m., in dense fog, seven buses and several smaller vehicles collided on the Agra-to-Noida side near Milestone 127. Some vehicles caught fire, and charred remains were seen at the site. Cranes removed the damaged vehicles from the road. SSP Mathura Shlok Kumar said, "Four people died, and 25 were injured in the accident. The vehicles collided due to low visibility." The injured were taken to hospitals, and none are in critical condition, according to Mathura Police. The road was blocked, prompting traffic diversions. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed sorrow and said, "The loss of life in the road accident on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura district is extremely tragic and heartbreaking. My deepest condolences are with the bereaved families." He added, "I have instructed the district administration officials to ensure proper treatment for the injured.
