On Monday, December 15, 2025, a Delhi Court extended the NIA custody of Soyab and Dr. Naseer Bilal Malla for four more days. The two suspects were brought before Principal and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna. The judge allowed the National Investigation Agency to continue questioning Soyab, from Faridabad, and Naseer Bilal Malla, from Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir. They had appeared in court with tight security as their previous custody period ended. Media was not allowed to cover the hearing. The NIA said that Soyab and Naseer offered logistical support to Umar-un-Nabi before the Delhi terror bomb blast. The agency also accused them of destroying evidence related to the attack. The bomb blast took place outside the Red Fort on November 10, 2025. Umar-un-Nabi allegedly drove the explosive-filled car that killed 15 people and injured many others in this deadly terrorist attack.
