Ipseity Diagnostics, a US-based molecular diagnostics firm, has joined hands with Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research in Andhra Pradesh. This collaboration will introduce transcriptomics, low-cost PCR, and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies to the state. The MoU signing took place on December 12, 2025, at Vignan’s University campus with key leaders present including Chairman Lavu Rathaiah and Vice-Chancellor P. Nagabhushan. Ipseity Diagnostics was represented by CEO Dr. Sandeep Nadendla and CMO Dr. Kalyan Chakravarthy K., who signed the agreement alongside Professors P.M.V. Rao and Vijaya Ramu Dirisala of Vignan’s Foundation. The partnership aims to speed up the translation of molecular science “from bench to bedside.” It will focus on new diagnostic tools to tackle sepsis, drug-resistant infections, and other critical health problems. The initiative also supports the creation of affordable, indigenous technologies suited for India’s health system. Dr. Kalyan Chakravarthy said, "The partnership positions Andhra Pradesh as an emerging hub for high-end biomedical research and could benefit millions of patients through faster, more accurate, and cost-effective diagnostic tools."
