YSRCP Student Leader Demands Nara Lokesh's Resignation Over Poor School Supplies
December 12, 2025
On Friday, A. Ravichandra, working president of the YSRCP students wing, strongly criticized HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh. He accused the minister of failing to provide proper school bags and shoes to students. Speaking to the media, Ravichandra demanded Lokesh's resignation. He said, "A person unable to ensure quality supplies has no moral right to continue as a minister." Ravichandra pointed out that despite claims of a three-stage inspection, substandard school bags were distributed. He highlighted a big gap between Lokesh's statements and the actual situation on the ground. The YSRCP leader also alleged large-scale corruption in the ₹953 crore spending on these supplies. According to him, officials supplied low-quality items out of greed for commissions.
