Cyberabad Police Ban Large Gatherings in Shamshabad Zone Ahead of Gram Panchayat Polls

Cyberabad police have imposed strict limits on public gatherings ahead of the Gram Panchayat elections on December 11 and 14. Deputy Commissioner of Police B. Rajesh ordered that no more than five people can gather in polling areas under 10 police stations in the Shamshabad zone. These include Shamshabad, Kothur, Nandigama, Shadnagar, Kondurg, Chowdarigudem, Keshampet, Kadthal, Amangal, and Talakondapally.
The controls aim to maintain law and order, keep public peace, and prevent any disruption during the two election phases. The restrictions start from 5 p.m. on December 9 to 6 p.m. on December 12 for Phase I and continue from 5 p.m. on December 12 to 6 p.m. on December 15 for Phase II.
The order also bans any unlawful assemblies and public meetings during these times. Police warned that anyone breaking these rules will be prosecuted according to the law. This move is intended to ensure a smooth and peaceful election process in the Shamshabad zone.
